New Member, Toronto Chapter

Hi all,

I see the vibrancy of Toronto is not reflected in the Toronto Chapter of ISC2. Given Cyber Security is such a growing and ever changing field of work; I am on the pathway to joining this industry, like many.

Proud to be a member of ISC2 - Toronto Chapter and I would love to see some action here!

Meet faces, mentors, hear stories and get together at events!

TC Everyone!

Warm Regards,

Ankitd

Hello Ankidt,

I popped on to this forum looking to grow my contacts and share experiences with people in the industry.  ISC2 created a great platform, It's sooo quiet though!

From the groups I've attended over the years, https://www.task.to/ has by far the greatest ISC2 membership of any security group in Toronto.  If you're able to make their monthly meetings and their after-meeting socials you'll likely meet a lot of people.

Having children has made it difficult for me to socialize after-hours.  Have you found other downtown groups or activities?

Hi ISC2 Toronto community!  Hope all is well!
ICL, I'm here for selfish reasons...but please bear with me!
Would any of you (or someone you know) be willing to participate in a brief anonymous Google Forms survey for my MSc (Information Security) dissertation? Survey topic is "Insider Threats: A focus on Cybersecurity budgetary considerations".

If you'd like to participate, here is the link: https://forms.gle/CuWu7YUMiRCmPTQm9

It is safe, but feel free to check before clicking, of course!  Again, I must stress the survey is entirely anonymous. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected. Individual responses will not be attributed to any person or organization.  All responses will be aggregated and analyzed only at a summary level, and the results will be used solely for academic research purposes.

Maybe the Chapter President can hold me to present my findings in a brief talk post-graduation in return for the Chapter's participation?

Every contribution strengthens the reliability of its findings. counts, so I hope you could do me a solid and participate.  Thanks in advance!
