Well said. The fundamental challenge with AI is that in order to quantify the risk, you have to know every possible output of the AI. Well, if you are going to do that work, then you don't need the AI. It's just not cost-effective to fully quantify the risk. But the massive market pressure out there is forcing both a rush to development and a rush to adoption. If you don't spend on AI, you could be put out of business by the adopters who find either a competitive advantage or an investment one, but if you do adopt AI, and the unforeseen happens, it could put you out of business due to some error. In the end, the ones who will survive are those with the cash to pursue AI while maintaining human intelligence around it. The big will get bigger while everyone else gets gobbled up trying to keep up.
