Traditional controls are failing
HI All
Despite deploying best-in-class security tools and building capable teams, many organizations discover the truth only after a breach: their controls weren’t working as expected.
Think of changing a light-bulb—you turn it on to check if it works. Security controls rarely get the same validation. Instead, success criteria become “don’t break production,” which doesn’t actually test whether the security controls are effective.

I especially liked the analogy with the light bulb—it really highlights the importance of continuous, proactive testing of security controls. Red teaming, purple teaming, and control validation platforms can help bridge the gap and shift the mindset from “set-and-forget” to “test-and-verify. Thank you!
