Not paying for security measures is cost-effective up until a hack occurs.

@Until_then    Not paying attention to third party supplier security controls is also a great risk to any company too.

 

The chain with strained links is often broken by not paying attention to your suppliers.

True.  Absent an accident, nobody needs insurance. and smoke detectors are a waste of money until the fire starts.  

 

Then again, if I could accurately predict the future, I would be living off lottery winnings.
