Some interesting points raised about the Tesla Powerwall2 home battery system. Since it is a non-mobile version of the power source in the cars, it is based on the CAN bus, and the CAN bus has known vulnerabilities, including some that never will be fixed since they are part of the protocol itself. Furthermore, while a Tesla car is only intermittently connected to the Internet, for a Powerwall2 the connection is permanent.
