Is anyone else tired of seeing recurring (sometimes daily) e-mails from every business, organization, politician, social group, and spammer on the net who happens to have your e-mail, with Subject lines that give no information other than COVID-19?
The volume has reached the point that it is an order of magnitude (mathematically, not figuratively) larger flood than all my Netf1ix and We11s Fargo spams combined!
Andrea @AndreaMoore & Kaity @Kaity please understand that I include (ISC)2 in this unfortunate barrage. Please pass this message back to the staff and Board.
If you actually want me to read the message, use the subject to tell me what it is about. If it is essential I know it is related to the virus, put (COVID-19) at the end of the subject!

Fraudulent COVID-19 Emails with Malicious Attachments

I really do not care that the CEO or President of a corporation or insurance coop or membership organization cares about me keeping safe. I certainly do not need protection reminders from people who are not themselves actual authorities on either legal or medical practice, simply regurgitating what the heck they read on FakeBook!
So, if you want to tell me a meeting has been canceled due to viral concerns, use a subject like 5/15 ID:10T Conference Canceled (COVID-19). If you wish to scold me for going to the liquor store, tattle on me to the local gendarmerie and leave me alone.

Thank you, and bless you all. May you and yours stay healthy, however you are able to.
