Researchers at Lookout Inc. have discovered some of the most advanced and full-featured mobile surveillanceware ever seen. Dubbed Monokle and used in the wild since at least March 2016, the Android-based application was developed by the Special Technology Centre Ltd. (STC), a St. Petersburg, Russia, defense contractor. In short there is nothing that this piece of surveillanceware can't do in a highly targeted attack.
