Does the recovery using RAID could really help for data sizes approaching huge sizes like 100 Terabytes or more? I think it's not helpful however it's feasible.
If it takes long duration, could be days/months and which does not seem realistic in the era of manageable time frames (RTO -Recovery Time Objectives). And moreover the risks in rebuilding the data, e.g disk failure during RAID rebuild process could be a disaster.
Please share your thoughts professionals!!!
Any better solution? erasure coding etc..
