Cloud Cube Model

Greetings,

This is regarding Jericho Cloud Cube Model...

The internal/external axis of the cube distinguishes between Cloud services hosted within an organisation’s own barriers and those hosted outside of those barriers, so i can understand  internally hosted is ideally perimeterised which is an architectural approach adopted by the consumer and is attempting to implement a hard /soft external barrier by default

Then in this case how can we understand the significance of the third dimention perimeterised/de-perimeterised axis suggested by CCM?

Please share your understanding and thoughts.

Thanks

Regards

How can a cloud be a cube?

o/' A cloud's not like a hedge,
Doesn't have a sharp edge,
It's amorphous! ... o/'
