CISSO Training Advise

I failed my first attempt on the CISSP exam

I domain above average

4 below expectation and the rest near expectation.

I got many question with 2 or three correct answers with only multiple guess left

I had 16 years experience under NIST/FISMA guidance before my employer lost their contract so I have been unemployed.

Used Sybex, Bosson, and ISC2 CBK. and 11th hour for prep

Has anyone found boot camps or online to be advantages

Not sure what your experiences are, I would venture to guess, from your posting, are more on compliance side. If I am correct, then you wil have some catch up to do. Personally I am not a bootcamp fan, especially there are quite a few alternatives available. Check out mooc course, such as coursera or edx.

When you study, always ask why, especially with practice questions. You mentioned there were multiple correct answers to the questions, my guess is that they were asking which is the BEST. These questions are testing your understanding, not memorizing study materials.

The study materials you mentioned are fairly decent, so I would recommend that you go back and study again with what you have.

Best wishes,

Do a search here on the word "Anderson" (or the word "study") on you will get
some good tips.
