You found an excellent Privacy Paper Categorization Framework here! I think the challenge at this point would be trying to find a paper that doesn't fit into one of these categories. We could even fit news articles into some of these as well lol.

Rob!
Shame on you for failing to cite your source*.

Randall Munroe is an excellent scientist (physicist) and computer specialist who happens to do great cartoons.

Plus, the way you did it folks miss his rollover!

Note: You are welcome to reprint occasional comics pretty much anywhere (presentations, papers, blogs with ads, etc). If you're not outright merchandizing, you're probably fine. Just be sure to attribute the comic to xkcd.com.

Mea culpa.

In my defence, all I can say is that *my* source was someone who failed to cite
*his* source, and, in a bit of a time push, I failed to note Randall's style. His stuff
is always great, and frequently very insightful, but I had fallen a bit behind.

So, what you are saying is that *your* source remains neither xkcd  nor cited 😀.

I do concur that Randall is great.

Hmmmm. Well, I *could* say that I am respecting the *privacy* of my source ...
