Canadian doughnut chain Tim Hortons got caught spying everyone who had their phone app, tracking them for a year without permission or notification. Who do they think they are, TIkTok??
They think they have a way to make good to customers now that they are caught:
Give each affected person one cup of coffee and one doughnut. Lesee, I guess that wll cost each franchise about $5.00 per customer. How generous.
