Equifax fined at last

I see that the authorities caught up with Equifax at last with a 575million dollar US fine.

Why they're not sending out wave after wave of repetitive emails to the one hundred forty-five million 'Muricans affected, which plainly and unequivocally state, "YOU NEED TO FREEZE YOUR CREDIT WITH US AND THE OTHER TWO CRAS RIGHT NOW" is beyond me.
