My VA counselor is having a hard time finding proof that ISC2 is certified for VR&E. Also no facility code to submit payments. Any help with providing this information will be greatly appreciated

Veteran Benefits

The Post-9/11 GI Bill Covers Your Certification Exam Fee

Through initiatives like the Post-9/11 GI Bill and the Montgomery GI Bill, the VA provides financial aid for academic studies, including professional certifications like those in cybersecurity.

To learn whether you’re eligible for the GI Bill or to apply to the program, visit the GI Bill website.

In-Person Training Options

Veterans can more easily acquire the specific skills needed for the workforce thanks to these benefits, which can cover the cost of tuition, books, and fees.

For instance, Official ISC2 CISSP Training, which is highly recognized in the cybersecurity industry, can be covered by the Post-9/11 GI Bill with Training Camp.

For more information, visit our approved ISC2 Official Training Partner:

- Training Camp

Are you interested in another ISC2 Official Training Partners? Please contact them directly to ask whether they accept the GI Bill. You can find a complete list of ISC2 Training Partners here.

College Credit Hours for CISSP or SSCP Training

The American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT®) has evaluated and recommended three college credit hours for completing an Official ISC2 CBK Training Seminar for the CISSP or SSCP. These credit hours are accepted at more than 1600 veteran-friendly universities.

For more information, visit the ACE CREDIT website.

If you then click on GI Bill website, it takes you to .https://benefits.va.gov/gibill/ Where there is a drop down for VR&E.

If this doesn't work for them, I would contact Customer Support ( https://www.isc2.org/contact-us).  Hope this helps

Anyone else have experience here?

Old Message, but thought I'd add ISC isn't a training provider under VRE, as the previous poster wrote you can get gibill reimbursement for ISC, but if you want VRE you need a training provider. Many people like WGU.
