How much coverage did ISC2 certifications provide on the older 8570 directive?

Under 8570, several ISC2 certifications met the information assurance needs of the DoD, including all but three information assurance levels as defined in 8570. With 8570 in place, ISC2 certifications qualified members to serve in security roles, regardless of role title.
