I can't wait for the day when Bots (read AI) start self-generating code. That next AI induced robo call will get flagged. A lawsuit will commence.
Judge to the lawyer of the plaintiff: "We seem to have a problem getting representation for the Bot. Who wrote the code?"
Plaintiff's lawyer: "It seems to have been generated by AI, sir."
Judge: "So code developed code?"
Lawyer: "Yes sir."
There's a heavy echo through the chamber as the judge whacks his gavel on the desk.
Judge: "I rule in favor of AI!"
Gazillions of bits light up the Net as more Bots start churning out AI code in response.
Maybe then the lunacy will stop?
Is it entirely inappropriate that I laughed, quite audibly, at this?
Several members of my team just looked at me as if I'd introduced a RAT to the finance systems.

It is a comfort to know that one brings joy to people's lives simply by one's existence ...
(It is, of course, quite possible that one does not exist, and is simply an artificial intelligence experiment gone horribly wrong, and hooked up to various email addresses ...)
Indeed. But, should done bring joy to another's life, does it matter if one is indeed artificial or not?
