Degree-stream-eligibility

Hi Folks,

I hope you are doing well. I am preparing for CISSP but I have major concern which is bothering me and making me anxious.

My question is, in any stream 4 year degree accepted?

What If I have 3 years Bachelor degree in Biotechnology and 2 year MBA and 2 Year Masters of Computer Networking from Australia. Can I get waiver of 1 year in this case?

I have 4+ years experience in 2 or more domains as mentioned in ISC2 requirements.

Also to prove experience, a company letter head mentioning my roles, joining date and relieving date is sufficient? Ofcourse always verifiable.

Please let me know ASAP, as I have already started investing time and money for CISSP preparation.

Thanks heaps in advance.

The experience waiver requirement for degrees is a 4-year college degree or regional equivalent:

https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/CISSP/experience-requirements

A 4-year degree in the US is a bachelor's degree, but as they cover a major and a minor subject it takes 4 years instead of the 3 years it takes in most countries where they only cover a major subject.

As such, just your bachelor's on its own is the regional equivalent, and as no particular subjects are specified that means any bachelor's meets the requirement.

In terms of the paperwork you need to submit, this post from a former admin has all the answers:
