What did you *think* "tracking" meant?

If you are going to engage in an illegal insurrection, don't do it while you are wearing a GPS tracking device that was attached to you because you violated an earlier parole order ...

... or brag publicly

 

... or use credit cards / IDs to travel

 

... or hang with people that care more about reward money

 

Law enforcement's single biggest advantage is that criminals typically have poor opsec.

All too believable unfortunately.

 

Although before now I've used train tickets, location data, knowledge of transport disruption due to suspect packages, hand written notes etc. as evidence that I attended Infosec events as part of ISC2s CPE audits.

 

Although at other times I'd only take id, a train ticket and car key, because getting into and out of some sites quickly matters if you're schedule is busy.
