USB-C as an exploit gateway

USB is bad enough.

USB-C apparently opens a whole new can of worms.

Not a whole lot of details, so far, but you can apparently do pretty much anything, to pretty much anything, just by plugging in a (suitably rigged) charger.

Re: USB-C as an exploit gateway

Scary. Both my laptop & smart phone charge via their USB-C port, probably to get them more compact. While neither is from Apple, the article did say the attack can be carried out on other vendors' products.

I'm suddenly starting to appreciate my chargers a lot more... Man Wink
