U.S. Infrastructure Bill on Cybersecurity - What does it mean if passed?

The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill tomorrow, September 30, 2021. The funds include $1.9B which will go toward securing critical U.S. infrastructure systems (i.e. energy, water, transportation) against cyber attacks. What do you think about this investment in the fight against cybersecurity? Is this a step in the right direction? What do you think of the list of cybersecurity initiatives that will receive funding if this bill is passed?

Sounds like "critical infrastructure" should be doing what those of us in "normal business" have been doing for years.

That said, the security portion is only 0.2% of the entire investment request, so "security" has very little impact on how I feel about this particular bill.
