Trend Micro have just had most of their Mac apps turfed from the Apple Store. Apparently they were storing (and forwarding) private info.
Back in the day, I reviewed a lot of antivirus products. I also kept tabs on the various antivirus companies. And, over the years, even after I stopped doing formal reviews, I sorta kept and eye on things. Trend Micro always had a habit of sailing pretty close to the ethical wind, so this comes as no surprise to me, whatsoever.
