The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) now recognises cyber security attacks

Hi All

 

The CAA International - Part of the UK CAA working alongside the Department of Transport, are proposing to introduce a UK Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) regulation to protect the UK aviation sector from cyber-attacks. The consultation period has closed with effect 26 Jan 2024. A link to the proposed rules can be found in the comments below.

The proposed regulations will impact the following:
☑ Part ADR.OR Aerodrome operators and apron management service providers
☑ Part 21 G & J Production and design organisations
☑ Part 145 Maintenance organisation
☑ Part CAMO Continuing airworthiness management organisations
☑ Part-ORO Air operators
☑ Part-ORA Approved training organisations
☑ Part-ORA Aircrew aero-medical centres
☑ Part-ORA Flight simulation training device (FSTD) operators
☑ Part ATCO.OR Air traffic controller training organisations and ATCO aero-medical centres
