Splunk, the security information and event management company, is honouring existing contracts in Russia, but won't be going after more. The company statement doesn't give many details as to why.
Splunk has recently made statements about the importance of "data ethics" to the company, so that may have something to do with it. There is also the fact that the Russian government has demanded access to the source code of all software products.
