This article rings so true. I know it came from a British source but I have seen the same things happening here in Canada.
I use a smartphone and the number of times that I get text messages saying that this company or that company has a refund for me. All I need to do is provide a bank account number. Then there are the scams on the actual phone. One scam relates to my car (new and still on warranty) but that I need to have a costly repair done at THEIR service department not the an authorized dealer.
I have been doing Sec. Awareness for some local seniors and will be adding this material in.
Thanks for sharing.
