Pearson Security Incident

We are aware of Pearson's disclosure of a data breach dated May 6, 2025. We have been assured there is no impact to ISC2 member and exam candidate data.

Thank you, @mariatirado, for the update and assurance regarding the Pearson breach.
To better understand ISC2’s approach, was ISC2 conducted internal investigation or independent assessment following Pearson’s disclosure? It would be helpful to know if any specific due diligence steps were taken to validate the "no impact" assurance.

@akkem Thank you for your question! The reported security incident occurred with a separate business owned by Pearson, not with Pearson VUE. The Pearson VUE account management, candidate information and exam administration systems are independent of the impacted business. As one of Pearson VUE’s largest global clients, we maintain an extremely close relationship with their senior leadership, and technology and security teams. We are confident in the assurance we received.
