For some reason, on the Johns Hopkins CoVID-19 dashboard, Canada, as a country, has disappeared. (If you switch to the province/state/dependency mode, the individual provinces with infections still show up.)
This is disturbing, for someone who lives there ...
@rslade Is this the same kit that Donald used? Or as a result of the numerous drugs to keep him bouyed up?
How long would it take to be shipped to New Zealand at the present time?
Has it been independently evaluated, and accepted by the medical practitioners and WHO or any other Health Authority?

@rslade I am glad you recognised the Jest and you were not taking yourself too seriously!!!
I think we have to get used to the fact, we will just have to work in different ways, and work our way throughout in the best way we can.

(Except, of course, for those by Dr. Bonnie Henry.)
I posted some of my experience with testing, here. With the grandkids infected, it's added a bit to the experience.
Here in BC we have a "swish and spit" test. It's less invasive than the nasopharyngeal swabs. But they don't have huge volumes of the supplies, so I think it is still mostly reserved for kids. The grandkids are just within the limit, so one was offered that, and took it. After which the nurse said, "... and the results take about 14 days."
Ummm, excuse me? I mean, that's quarantine time, anyway. What's the point of getting tested if you still have to stay home for two weeks waiting for the results?
(My results came, via text/SMS, 25 hours after swab. Another family member registered for the text/SMS notification, and, even though it was in the first ramp up of the "surge," got notification in 47 hours.)
Well, at least somebody's helping out ...
Now we have proof that kids are paying the price of CoVID.
Fire up your app and cough twice ...
Not sure if I should be impressed or scared out of my mind knowing Covid-19 can be detected over the phone. The idea doesn't bother me so much as the idea that having to do a daily "cough call" to the authorities doesn't sit well either.
