This is pretty neat... excuse me... I need to go urm... run an um, update, urm..... 

Oddly enough I just flashed Bios and firmware less than a week ago

Been wondering how you can effect a zero trust model around this cpu issue especially with cloud computing.  Will Intel give us more ability to turn off components in the cpu to enhance trust as the cost of performance?   Given reports that some workloads are 25% higher now and that this will drive a 10-15% cost increase on some cloud platforms will that cost break a number of move to the cloud business cases.
