For those who are not necessarily familiar with the term, IoMT - Internet of Medical Things, has become a buzz word in healthcare information management. It is estimated the total market of IoMT will reach over 70 billion in 2021.

I have had similar concerns about IoMT; I have witnessed smartphones, smartwatches, and other wearables in patient rooms of hospitals. My informal survey of nurses and other medical staff tells me they are 'instructed to take care of their devices, not use them for personal data' but I know that's not always followed.
