How to identify Zero Trust Imposters?

Hi All

There are so many misinterpretations of Zero Trust out there in the market, how do you distinguish between the truth and the myths?

It makes sense to start with NIST SP800-207, as it's a very short publication and provides a baseline to compare commercial offerings against.  If looking at ZTNA start with a written set of requirements, which will help identify the products that match from those that are simply latching onto the latest buzz word.

Zero Trust has become a marketing craze that glazes many eyes once the phrase has been uttered. I've switched to using conditional access when talking about "it".

@Steve-Wilme Definitely agree on using NIST 800-207 as a good starting reference.
