Singapore became one of the coronavirus "hot spots" outside of China fairly early on.
A family in Thailand sent a "care package" of face masks and hand sanitizer to a family they knew in Singapore.
In recent hours, I have seen a number of reports (although little hard information) that Thailand is the new covid-19 "hot spot" of concern ...
(My sister, who works in the travel industry, is in Thailand at the moment (probably on a "fam trip[1]") ...)

@rslade Will they be allowed to return without going into previously 14 days quarantine or yesterday it was 27 days, as some people are only detected as carriers at that point.
Did you see that Samoa turned away 8 of their own citizens returning to Samoa, as they had come from India. Apparently this is illegal. They still remember the flu epidemic of 1918, which decimated the country.
Here is some history: https://nzhistory.govt.nz/culture/1918-influenza-pandemic/samoa

Unfortunately, there are stories every day with new countries reporting major outbreaks of the Covid19.
The latest is Italy. https://www.euronews.com/2020/02/24/covid-19-outbreak-in-italy-what-are-other-eu-countries-doing
One prays that those affected and infected will make a speedy recoveries.
Amazing about Samoa, had not read that story before....thanks.
