This one really is both weird and intrusive.
So, Facebook encourages you to tell them your cell number, for security purposes. (You know, if you lose access to the account, or someone hijacks it, you can get it back by having Facebook send you a text.) Security, right?
So then they turn around and sell it to advertisers ...
