Face recognition accuracy is questionable at best. And it's being used for all kinds of inappropriate things.
So, should we be using it in schools? This opinion piece from the ACLU says an emphatic "no." (Vendors seem to be pushing it, knowing that use in education is a great entry to the overall market.)
Given the privacy issues, inaccuracy, and racial differences in accuracy, it's hard to argue the point.
