Diabetics hacking (and hunting) insulin pumps

An old Medtronic insulin pump was found to have a security vulnerability.  It could be used to kill someone.

 

But instead, diabetics are searching for those old pumps (which Medtronics doesn't sell anymore) because you can also hack them and make them better ...

 

(Hacking isn't necessarily always bad ...)
