It will give you hours of fun and productivity until the battery runs out and you can't charge it ...
Sad to see the chargers not being included. I saw something the other day about the removal of the audio plug so they could sell Bluetooth speakers (airpods). I used to be in the auto mechanic industry and would joke that every decade or so the tool manufactures would come up with new fasteners/bolts/screws so the mechanics would have to buy new tools. I find it ironic that they say not shipping chargers is for "environmental reasons" but what about all of those things we throw away, like useless headphones because of no audio jack......

Aw, Rob, you know that has been the trend since the S. Korean push to use the same charger cable connection for all brands (but Apple) hit North America. Heck, I have a drawer full of the USB power blocks needed with the USB-to-lightning cable that comes with the iPhone, and I can buy more dirt cheap at any drug store, grocery store, convenience store, or big box store.
Plus... 5G and Wifi 6! I do want an iPhone 12, and I don't even have a Wifi 6 router (yet).

I just learned that the cable shipping with the new iPhone 12 family is USB-C-to-lightning. That means that the only 12-buyers who will have to buy a new power block are those who have never owned any iPhone before. The old USB power blocks and USB-to-lightning cables should work fine to charge the new model.
