I am reading "Claws of the Panda: Beijing's Campaign of Influence and Intimidation in Canada" by Jonathan Manthorpe. Manthorpe is a mature and experienced journalist of long standing, and I've followed his excellent reports and features for a number of years.
Although the subtitle indicates the book is only looking at the current relationship between Canada and China, in Manthorpe's hands it is a masterful overview of espionage and influence campaigns in this age where it seems everyone is using disinformation. This has great significance for everyone in information security where it seems that integrity and accuracy is under constant and deliberate attack.

I have saved this book for further reading during enforced Detox occasion. Looking forward to it.
