We have discussed censorship and filters. We've discussed how ridiculous it can be. We've discussed automated filters, and the bugs in them. We've discussed other forms of censorship. We've asked to have filters removed.
But. even though I've researched quantum computers for many years, this story makes my head hurt. It's that convoluted and self-referential.
In short, an automated filter helped take down (well, de-index, really) an article by a Member of the EU Parliament, explaining how a (still being debated) EU proposal would create automated filtering systems that would take down all sorts of legitimate content.
