Boeing is issuing a software upgrade for the troubled 737 MAX 8 aircraft in the coming weeks. (The announcement is fairly far down this article.) Presumably this will address some issues with the MCAS flight software.
Hopefully the upgrade won't be online, with aircraft rebooting in mid-flight ...

Not much risk of that given today's announcements.
Kinda interesting to watch how ET302 risk analysis is much more qualitative -- dominated by public relations and politics, whereas the earlier JT610 was more quantitative -- driven by investigation and analysis. I'm sure there are a few risk-analysis lessons in here somewhere.
