The global cybersecurity workforce gap has increased to more than 2.9 million, according to (ISC)2’s latest report. This means two things: a high demand for skilled cybersecurity experts and not enough supply of qualified candidates equals a world of opportunity.

The Center aims to bridge this gap by providing future information security professionals with scholarships to prepare them for a rewarding career in this important field. Companies like Raytheon, SAIC and even (ISC)2 Chapters have already taken a step forward in providing financial opportunities for students worldwide.

BUT, we need judges to review the hundreds of applications we get for each scholarship. So, if you are an (ISC)² Chapter Officer and would like to volunteer, this is your opportunity! Be part of the scholarship review process and help select the next generation of cyber professionals.

Benefits:

  • Help close the workforce gap
  • Earn CPE credits
  • Provide an opportunity to hard-working professional globally

Don’t just take our word for it, we often hear that this volunteer opportunity is very rewarding for our panelists who review the scholarship applications. Below are just a couple of quotes from past volunteers about their experience.

“To be a part of shaping the future of Cybersecurity is very rewarding”

“I really enjoy getting to see the future of Sec Ops & helping those most in need to achieve their goals!”
