Have you ever gone to a Community post that poses a question or problem and wanted to know which reply helped the most?  Accepted Solutions helps with this!

As the person who starts a thread in the Community, you will now have the ability to select one (or more) of the replies as the "Solution" to your post. You will see an "Accept Solution" button across the bottom of each reply in the thread.

By clicking on it,  it will highlight the post so that it displays directly below the original post as a Solution. This helps other users to find an answer to similar questions easily. It also helps to recognize the person who helped you in the Community!

@SamanthaO_isc2,  I do not currently have a "tech talk board".   I presume it would be under the "discussions" menu.

What he said. I have just been through the whole "Boards" menu, and Tech Talk
is definitely not there. Where is the long-promised Tech Talk board?

Apologies, @rslade & @denbesten - my timing was a little off on this. The board was supposed to go live first, and I missed my reminder to do that. It is live now under Discussions and you can also find it here: https://community.isc2.org/t5/Tech-Talk/bd-p/tech-talk

I will be moving some previous posts that fit into this board in just a little bit so that it does not appear empty, too.

Found it 🙂

Actually, I found it when trying to post something, first 🙂

And I made one so they wouldn't be lonely 🙂

Just confirming that the board is now visible to me.  Thanks @SamanthaO_isc2 for getting this fixed so quick.  Appreciate it as always.

I like this functionality, it could help the community agree on a vetted solution/suggestion. Has this been rolling out across the ISC2 community over July or August?

Hello @Brendan

This is a new feature that we are testing the waters with. We implemented it on the new Tech Talk board as it seemed like a good place to test this out. Depending on how this is received in the new board, we will look into rolling this out across the Community.

Please feel free to let us know if there are any board(s) that you wish to see this new feature in.

Thanks,

Samantha
