User already exists in Pearson with similar email address error

Hello,

 

I am getting the message "User already exists in Pearson with similar email address" when I try to register for the CC exam. I already have several Microsoft certifications with the same email through Pearson Vue. How do I resolve the issue?

You’d probably need to speak to Pearson on this initially(they should be anble to identify the issue) and get a ticket or acknowledgment from them that they can’t help - then you can ask ISC2 customer service for help.

You should get a ticket with Pearson first, then try to get ISC2’s help if they can’t resolve it.

Jumping in to say that @Early_Adopter has the correct advice! Please contact PearsonVUE first to get help with identifying the existing email address and resolving the issue within their database.
