Hi ISC2 Community Support Team, @CBMExamTeam , @DJExamTeam
I need urgent help with a failed CISSP exam registration.
I attempted to register for the CISSP Peace of Mind exam today. I created my ISC2 account, completed the required details and proceeded to pay by credit card. My bank authorised the payment and the transaction is currently showing as a pending authorisation on my card. However, immediately after the payment step, the ISC2 website displayed an error message saying:
There was an error with your order.
I understand from ISC2 customer support that the payment may have gone uncaptured and that ISC2 may not have received the funds. However, the issue did not appear to be a bank decline. The bank authorised the transaction, but the ISC2 checkout page failed after the payment attempt. As a result, my funds are now held, no order has been created and I am unable to confidently proceed with another registration attempt without risking a duplicate authorisation.
This is extremely stressful because I have been preparing for this certification for a long time and completing the CISSP is directly tied to my professional goals and current career timeline. I am not trying to create unnecessary pressure, but I genuinely need someone from ISC2 to help me resolve this properly instead of simply waiting up to 10 business days for the pending authorisation to expire.
For reference, I’ve already contacted:
membersupport@isc2.org
examadministration@isc2.org
Could someone please escalate this and confirm:
I have screenshots of both the ISC2 error and the pending card authorisation.
Regards,
Meraz

Wondering, what's the best way to purchase without facing the same issue. Would paypal be better?
