Regarding GST (Goods and Services Tax) charging for purchases made from India

Hello Community,

I received an email from ISC2 that GST will be charged starting 1st August 2025.

However when I tried to purchase a voucher couple of days ago, the GST is already being charged.

Do anybody has information if that is valid or any other means to purchase the voucher excluding GST charges before 1st August, 2025.

Wrote emails to membersupport and Account Manager couple of days ago. Still waiting for response. As 1st August is just couple of days away, trying to get some clarity!

Thank you for reaching out via ISC2 Community about being charged tax on your exam purchase.

I do see the email sent out by ISC2 dated July 1, 2025, announcing that Goods & Services tax on exam purchases will be collected beginning August 1, 2025, in India.

However, I know that when we launched our platform and e-commerce upgrade in April 2025, it included a global tax service application. 

Since then, we have had many inquiries about exam purchases and taxes now being charged.

If your ISC2 shopping cart and/or your checkout shows tax, then you will be charged tax, even if the purchase is made before August 1, 2025. 

My apologies if this is not the answer you were hoping for.
