I used "Peace of Mind Protection" to pass the CISSP exam in April. I would like to challenge the CCSP with this momentum, but can I use "Peace of Mind Protection" again? Of course, I plan to purchase a voucher for CCSP again.
Thank you for your comment.
Exam Peace of Mind Protection states the following, and I took the CISSP exam one month ago.
I'm not sure if "the certification exam" below includes taking a different exam.
*Terms and Conditions:
To be eligible for Peace of Mind Protection, you must not have attempted the certification exam within the last 12 months, and you must purchase the exam with Peace of Mind Protection from ISC2. If you have attempted the certification exam within the past 12 months, this offer is not applicable.
I can only make an assumption that the Peace of Mind second ticket would not be applicable to any other certification but let's ask the experts:
@mariatirado This question really belongs to one of the teams internal. Would you be kind enough to forward to the correct department.
Thanks
d
Watching this with anticipation as I managed to clear the exam first attempt after purchasing a PoM ticket also, but I think I know the answer 😀.
Hi @Rei,
Peace of Mind Protection is specific to the exam you purchased it for.
From the T&Cs:
To be eligible for Peace of Mind Protection, you must not have attempted the certification exam within the last 12 months, and you must purchase the exam with Peace of Mind Protection from ISC2. If you have attempted the certification exam within the past 12 months, this offer is not applicable.
Meaning it must be your first attempt at that specific certification in the last 12 months.
In this case, completing CISSP has no impact on purchasing POM for CCSP as they are different certs.
Hope this helps.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Hi @mgardner ,
Thank you for your very appropriate answer!
Now I will purchase the CCSP POM again and take the CCSP exam.
