Error User already exists in Pearson with similar email address

Just bought my CISSP exam voucher today. I am trying to schedule my exam. I fill out the necessary form and every time I hit submit, I get the error "Error: User already exists in Pearson with similar email address". I have tried calling ISC2 four times today, but each time, I get stuck on hold for 20 minutes before it auto hangs up on me. I've sent in an email, but I've received no response. This is very poor for an organization of this size.

 

I used Pearson Vue in the past for my CompTIA A+ and Security+ exam. But I want to schedule my CISSP exam soon.

@GBBSUN1   From what you put, it sounds like the issue is more on the Pearson Vue side from the error message.  I know that logons before ISC2 started scheduling through their website that my ISC2 and CompTIA logons were completely different.  I even had to pick the exam organization first from Pearson Vue before could login.  Did you ever schedule an ISC2 exam before with Pearson Vue?  They would have gotten the E-mail address from somewhere and definitely would not be from CompTIA.  I wish that I had more help to offer but does not sound like something that ISC2 can resolve directly as seems to be a Pearson Vue error message.  I wish you the best and would definitely would be interested in the resolution.

I have not scheduled an ISC2 exam before on Pearson Vue. This will be my first ISC2 certification. As of right now, a community manager has asked me to email one of their support emails, which is different from the one I emailed before. Hopefully they will get back to me soon. I'll try to keep the thread updated if there are any fixes. Or if I have to contact Pearson Vue directly
