Condition to pass CISSP

Please help me to clear this question

I'm concerning about Condition to pass CISSP exam. As I read and understand, I need to achieve a minimum of 700/1000 points, which is 70% of the test. But this requirement of meeting a minimum of 70% means that all 8 Domains must answer 70% of the questions correctly, or is it calculated based on a total score of 700? For example, if one domain answers 80% to compensate for another domain that only gets 60%, the total score is still 700, will it pass this test?

I do not believe that this is how the process works but think it best to ask one of the folks in Exam Development to give you the proper answer.
