CISSP Endorsement delays

Hi, 

I passed my CISSP around 3-4 weeks ago and quickly completed the endorsement process because I didn't want too many delays. After 3 weeks I have heard nothing from the ISC2 team and the endorsement is still on stage 1 which is being submitted but not picked up by an ISC2 member. I applied for ISC2 to endorse me with information about a CISSP college who I have worked with for a number of years. 

I am wondering if it will be quicker to submit the endorsement using my colleague and not ISC2 because I don't want to get to the point where its going to take another 4 weeks and then suddenly I am reaching that 9 months limit before I need to take the exam again.

Or is there anyone who I can speak to about this or is there a general delay with endorsements at the moment ?

Hi all,

The process takes 4-6 weeks. Please allow that full time period before reaching out for help. 

For an application submitted January 27, 6 weeks will be March 10. 

For an application submitted January 31, 6 weeks will be March 14.

I'm in the same situation. I passed my CISSP exam on June 10, 2025, completed the endorsement process the same day, and received a notification from ISC2 stating:
"Your application was endorsed by ..... and has been submitted to ISC2 for review."

However, it's now been over four weeks, and I haven't received any further updates. I would really appreciate your assistance!

Congratulations on passing! The timeline is 4-6 weeks and you won't receive any progress updates unless your application requires more information. If it was submitted to ISC2 on June 10, then it will be completed no later than July 22 😊
