CC flashcards help please as support is poor

I have had a very somewhat lazy and incorrect response from your colleague Hannah! Infact I managed to resolve both issues on my own since they were not able to help despite my emails. Really disappointed.

Now I have not even received a response to my other query regarding flashcards. I really need to be able to use all available resources to increase my chance of passing first time!

I also have one more question, can my employer purchase SSCP for me and does this mean my free CC will still be available after purchasing SSCP!

I urge a reasonably timed response since my employer has set up time out of work for me to complete this.

link. If you fill out the form, you will immediately gain access to them via links in an email to your inbox.

 

You can use them while waiting for your query resolution!

Not sure who Hannah is, but would believe she is a member of the management team (accessed through Customer Support).  Most folk here are members of the organisation and most not likely to answer on your question regarding CC and SSCP.  I do know that the CC is not free to folks that currently hold any of the organisations' certifications.

 

Let's tag in @mariatirado to see if she can funnel your question(s) to the appropriate source.

I see that @Spirnia has provided you with the information to access the CC Flash cards.

Regarding the SSCP exam - 

  • Yes, your employer can purchase the exam for you. If they are not able to provide a "virtual" credit card for the purchase, another option is for them to reimburse you. Once you purchase the exam, the paid invoice will be available in your ISC2 dashboard.
  • As long as you schedule your CC exam before you schedule the SSCP exam, you will remain eligible for the one (1) free attempt at the CC exam.
  • Please be mindful of the Course Access Period (for your CC course, the access is 180 days from date of "purchase") and Exam Schedule Period (your CC Exam Schedule Period is one year from date of "purchase"). The SSCP Exam Schedule Period is also one year from date of purchase. 
    • You want to be sure you don't purchase your SSCP exam (and any training you may be considering) until you are ready to study and prepare for the exam.

One suggestion, on the above message, please pull down the three dots menu and select "edit".  Then, redact the name of the person with whom you are dissatisfied.   Nothing wrong with reporting names to @mariatirado via private message, but this board is public (i.e. searchable with google), so the name does not belong on the board.
