Hello folks,
I am embarking on getting CCSP certification and I am exploring the best resources to use. I have found 3 books all claiming to be the "Official Guide", but I am a little confused as to which one is the best to use.
Also, when they say they are the "Official ISC2" study guides, are they sanctioned by ISC2 or are they "Official" by name only?
The books in question are:
- Official (ISC)² Guide to the CCSP CBK – New!
- The Official (ISC)2 CCSP CBK Reference
- (ISC)2 CCSP Certified Cloud Security Professional Official Study Guide
Any help will be appreciated.

Hello @sang2000
(ISC)² offers a number of study resources which you can find by going to https://www.isc2.org/Training/Self-Study-Resources (scroll down for CCSP). All resources marked "Official" are developed in partnership with, and are endorsed by, (ISC)². No other resources can make this claim.
The CBK covers the current eight domains of CCSP with the necessary depth to apply them to the daily practice of information security. You can think of the CBK as a CCSP encyclopedia.
The Study Guide is designed specifically to prepare a candidate for their CCSP exam and includes practice questions, exercises, and more.
(ISC)² recommends that candidates prepare as much as possible for their exam and that they choose the resource (or resources) that best fit their study habits and preferences.
Here is a link to the (ISC)² Community Study Group for the CCSP exam: https://community.isc2.org/t5/CCSP-Study-Group/gh-p/CSSP_Study_Group
Good luck in your studies!
Thank you Andrea. That was helpful.
