Hi everyone,
I’m currently preparing for the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) exam and had a few questions that I was hoping someone in this community could help me with. I’ve read through some of the official materials and browsed a few threads here, but I’m still looking for clarity in a few areas.
How deep do the questions go into technical detail?
Since this is an entry-level cert, I assume it’s more foundational—but are there specific topics that tend to be trickier than others?
Are the ISC2 official practice questions enough?
I've been using them for review, but I’m wondering if I should be looking at additional practice tests to better prepare.
Time management tips during the actual exam?
How did you pace yourself to make sure you had enough time for all questions without rushing?
Any recommended study sequence?
I find myself jumping between domains. Did anyone follow a specific order that made the material easier to retain?
I’d love to hear your experience—whether you’ve passed the CC recently or are in the middle of your prep too. This is my first ISC2 certification, so I want to make sure I’m approaching it with the right mindset.
Thanks in advance! I really appreciate any tips or insights you can share.
