I am in the midst of a career switch, transitioning from healthcare to cybersecurity. I just got my CC certification about 2 weeks ago. Currently working as a medical assistant, though I may not have working experience in cybersecurity, I have taken a couple GRC and cybersecurity bootcamps/courses over the last few months (CC included). In one of the bootcamps, I had some hands-on experience in vulnerability scanning. ethical hacking and policy writing
I believe that the knowledge I have gained from the mentioned courses, transferrable skills from the healthcare sector and my eagerness to learn and develop myself, has prepared me to take on any entry-level cybersecurity positions.
I would truly appreciate any help towards finding a cybersecurity position, entry-level or otherwise.
